Jacob Goedecker

Jacob Goedecker was a German aircraft builder. According to Wikipedia he built the first Spider.

Following the bankruptcy of Fokker, Sytze van de Zee wrote a book.

The first person he allows to speak is Claus Goedecker, nephew of the German aircraft designer Jacob Goedecker, for whom Anthony Fokker became a test and demonstration pilot in 1910.

According to Goedecker, Fokker could not build any airplanes at all. 'What was later called the first Fokker-Spin was in reality a Goedecker-Spin that Mr. Fokker had ordered from my uncle.'

The first planes all came from Goedecker, he says. Fokker modified them and put his name on them, the nephew says.
