MLD R-7 c/n 5639 ordered October 1939 and delivered 10-05-1940.
First to the Westeinder Plas and then to the Alkmaarder Meer.
Then, on May 14, 1940 at 3:00 am, fled to Cherbourg (North West France).
All this together with the R-1, the R-3, the R-6 to R-11.
On May 22, 1940, they arrived at the English airfield Calshot.
From there they flew on to Pembroke Dock in South Wales where the RAF 320 Dutch Squadron was established on 1 June 1940.
The working name of the unit became Coastal Command of the Royal Air Force.
MLD R-8 c/n 5640 ordered October 1939 and delivered 12-05-1940.
Placed on the Westeinder Plas and later on to the Alkmaarder Meer and further the same life cycle as the R-7.

Placed on the Westeinder Plas and with the same life cycle as the R-7.
MLD R-10 c/n 5642 ordered October 1939 and delivered 12-05-1940.
Placed on the Westeinder Plas and with the same life cycle as the R-7.
MLD R-11 c/n 5643 ordered October 1939 and delivered 12-05-1940.
The R-11 was heavily damaged from 12 May 1940 onwards and was fully repaired at Fokker's MVK Schellingwoude in less than two days.
Placed on the Westeinder Plas and then the Alkmaarder Meer and further the same life cycle as the R-7.
