Overview page of Russian Fokkers

In and after 1923, a large number of Fokkers were supplied to Russia.

This was accompanied by many problems and misunderstandings on both sides.

In 2020-2021, Andrei Averin, an aviation historian from the Moscow suburb of Khimki, has published extensively on the career of the C.IV and the D.XI in the Soviet Union.

He wrote nine articles about this in the Russian model building magazine M-Hobby, illustrated with numerous previously unpublished photographs that he had found in the archives of the

RGVA, the Russian State Archives. They highlight a previously largely unknown aspect of Fokker history.

Thanks to René Demets who informed us of Andrej Averin's discoveries and provided the translation.

We will publish the photos with photo captions and provide a compact translation of the articles
