Around 1925 Anthony Fokker leaves for America and takes part in the Ford reliability and long-distance test Ford reliability tour).
With a Fokker F-VIIa (later referred to as F-VIIa-3m) he proves the reliability of his products and later starts an aircraft factory that would become the largest in the world in his time.
The type designations of the American models differ from the European designations. The Roman numbers are no longer used and the letters (sometimes) indicate a different type as in the European series.

Next to it is a Fokker C-2. This is the military version of the F-VIIA / 3m, which were first delivered by ship.
