preliminary translation
The idea of a nosewheel version of the S-11 arose at the same time as the development of the S-11.
This was also apparent from the production of the S-11, where the third production S-11 was converted into an S-12, it received cn 6287 and was registered in the aviation register on November 15, 1948 as PH-NDC.
The S.12 is also covered in the book of the S-11.

FOKKER S.12 1947
A nose gear version of the S.11, the S.12, was developed with funds from the Netherlands Institute for Aircraft Development (NIV).
The only prototype was subsequently tested on boundary layer extraction on the wing. About fifty S.12 were built for the air force in Brazil.
After Fokker withdrew from this country, the state factory at Galedo Airport near Rio de Janeiro developed a modified four-seat version with retractable undercarriage, the 8FG Guanabara, which had a 250 hp Lycoming engine.
Only about fifteen Guanabaras have been built in Brazil.

This is the nose wheel version of the S.11, the S.12. Only one S.12 was built at Fokker.
This recording is from the USA, where the S.12 gave a demonstration.

This S.12 was built in the Fokker Aeronautica factory in Brazil for the Brazilian Air Force.
In Brazil, the S.12 had T-22 as the type designation.
The PH-NDC has a modified cockpit here, with an instrument panel against the direction of flight.
The aircraft has been used for testing for a number of years by the Netherlands Institute for Aircraft Development in collaboration with TU Delft.

Fortunately, the S.12 has been preserved in the collection of the Aviodrome.
Here the S.12 is still in the possession of its predecessor, the Aviodome.
