Two photos of the 492 of the LVA at Soesterberg Airport.
Improved and delivered from 1929 with the Armstrong-Siddeley Mongoose or the Lynx engines, each with 200 hp.
Furthermore, this version got more modern rudders and the new low-pressure balloon tires.
At Fokker these aircraft were referred to as Fokker C.Ia.
The same 492 at Soesterberg airport.
Most of these C.Ia scouts remained in service until 1938.
Again the 516 from LVA, but now renewed to Fokker CIa. That happened from 1929 on.
The CI's engines were replaced by the 200 hp air-cooled Armstrong-Siddeley Lynx.
The ailerons were built into the wings.
The ordinary, somewhat larger tires are replaced by smaller low-pressure tires.
Also pay attention to the more modern LVA flying overalls and the somewhat more informal quarter hats or kepis.
The current Royal Air Force still uses them.

Note a rounded vertical tail, built-in ailerons and balloon tires.
The new engine became the 200 hp Armstrong-Siddeley Lynx.
