The French Air and Space Museum at Le Bourget Airport was established in 1919, making it one of the oldest aviation museums in the world.
It has a large indoor and outdoor collection of 150 aircraft.
The collection varies from the fragile Bleriot plane to the Concorde and the Boeing 747.
The total surface area of the museum is no less than 150,000 m², divided over a number of halls, hangars and platforms.
The museum has nearly 20,000 objects in its collection, including one original Fokker aircraft.

The D-VII hanging from the ceiling is in beautiful condition.
The aircraft was built under license at Albatros.
The D-VII has its original registration 6796-18 and as such it flew with the German Army during World War I.
The plane is equipped with a so-called Lozenge (camouflage) pattern.
These diamond-shaped patterns were not painted on the linen, but the linen itself was printed with the diamond pattern.
