This museum is also known as the “Luftwaffe Museum”.
The museum is located in Berlin on a former airfield of the Luftwaffe and the Royal Air Force.
The focus is on military history, in particular the history of the post-war German air force.
The museum has a collection of more than 200,000 items, including 155
airplanes.
The aircraft are installed both inside and outside, the outside
planes are in a not very good condition.
The museum has its origins in 1957 at Uetersen airport. In 1987 it was handed over to the Bundeswehr and in 1995 it moved to its current location.
Given the German military history, this museum naturally has Fokker aircraft in its collection.
Three World War I replicas are part of the aircraft collection.
